Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
Cool off this summer with the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker]! It’s really easy to use and clean. Just keep the bowl in your freezer and when you are ready to make ice cream, pour in the mixture and let it churn for about half an hour. The longer you let the machine run, the fluffier your ice cream will be. If you want to have an ice cream party or make more than one flavor at once, you can buy extra freezer bowls.
Given the heat wave in NYC this summer, I have been experimenting with lots of recipes. The machine comes with some that don’t require cooking but for those who are a bit more adventurous, these recipes for Ginger Ice Cream and Chocolate Cinnamon Gelato with Toffee have been my favorites so far!
While there are definitely fancier ice cream makers on the market, I recommend this one because it’s simple, sturdy and a good bargain at around $50.
