Local User-Generated Video to Television

August 8th, 2007

Our new Summer Contest - Beat The Heat! - Offers Online Video Creators a Chance to See Their Videos on Television.

Online fame is a good thing but getting on television is somehow even more fabulous. That’s why we’re so pleased to be working with Charter Cable on a local contest centered on ways people in St Louis are beating heat. We believe this is a first-of-its-kind promotion where residents - in this case in steamy St Louis - are encouraged to submit their videos to ExpoTV with a shot at “cable stardom”.

Sure one great video creator will walk away with a brand-new Panasonic PV-G320 wide-screen camcorder and Power Director 5 video editing software. But the real prize is that everyone wins when their friends, family and perhaps a Hollywood casting directors sees their video on Charter’s “I Want More” Channel 999. It turns out that the promotion was intriguing enough to lure a brand name automotive advertiser.

Stay tuned.
