The BackUp Pal is a nifty little device that stores all the text files from your cellular phonebook onto a back up drive. Now you can lose your cell phone, drop it into the toilet or even buy a new one without worrying about the hassle of losing all your phone numbers and email contacts.

Backup-Pal works with most Motorola and Samsung phones as well as some Nokias. The Backup-Pal Team is currently working on support for additional phones from Nokia, Motorola and Samsung and will be adding LG, Palm, RIM, Sanyo and Sony Ericsson to the compatibility list this year.
