This ClickZ post by Digitas’ Christine Beardsell is so good, there’s really nothing to add, except to say that it is a really good sign for 2008 that agencies, and hopefully even their clients, are starting to demand that we look to the next thing. Thanks for the kudos, it’s always nice to get feedback on my column (David just pointed me to your blog entry).
I definitely think there are huge untapped opportunities in the UGC space, and am excited to see sites like expoTV…you have a great mission!
